Josh Constine is a venture partner at $2.1 billion early-stage VC fund SignalFire that builds AI to help its portfolio companies with recruiting and sales. He leads the firm's consumer vertical with a focus on social, marketplaces, and AI-enabled services. Previously, Constine spent 8 years at TechCrunch where he was Editor-At-Large, and was ranked the world's #1 most cited tech journalist 2016-2020 by Techmeme. Constine has moderated 200+ on-stage interviews and keynotes in 18 countries with leaders including Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Senator Cory Booker, and whistleblower Edward Snowden. Constine graduated from Stanford University with a Master's degree he designed in Cybersociology. He is a recurring guest lecturer at Stanford's Graduate School Of Business, has been quoted in the NYT and WSJ, is regularly featured on CNN, and recently started a SMS newsletter of SF's best events called Outgoers.

“Our first revenue, if we can count it…, [was] a bottle of whiskey after they raised money for their company using DocSend and I was like, ‘Does this count as revenue?’,” laughs Russ, recalling the start of his DocSend journey (which ended in a $165m acquisition by Dropbox.
