Kendrick Nguyen is the CEO of Republic, a global financial technology firm backed by Valor Equity Partners, Binance, Morgan Stanley and other leading institutions. Prior to founding Republic in 2016, Kendrick led regulatory affairs and international expansion as General Counsel at AngelList. He also co-founded CoinList and held executive roles at The Permal Group and Kanbar Enterprises. Formerly a Fellow of Stanford Law School and the Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University, Kendrick is frequently consulted by the staff of the US SEC, the US Congress, and the government of Vietnam on issues in the intersection of the private markets, blockchain, and retail participation.

We had a great turnout and really enjoyed the talk between Scott Norton, Co-Founder and former CEO of Sir Kensington's (acquired) & current Founder & General Partner at N + 1 Ventures, and Alap Shah, Managing Partner at Studio Management.

Scott Norton is an entrepreneur turned investor and founding partner of a $300M growth equity fund affiliated with Fidelity Investments, backing disruptive consumer companies. As founder of N+1 Ventures, Scott has backed over 20 early and growth stage consumer companies, often serving as a strategic advisor or board director. Previously, Scott co-founded and served as CMO and CEO of Sir Kensington's, helping define the premium condiment category before leading its successful acquisition by Unilever in 2017.
